The New England Peace Pagoda is located at 100 Cave Hill Road in Leverett, Massachusetts, just minutes north of Amherst.  It is a curvy, confusing drive through the beautiful New England woods, and there will be signs directing you to the Hara ceremony along the way.   From the center of Amherst: Take East Pleasant Street north out of town to Route 63. Turn right onto Route 63, and follow it around the curve to the left. Soon there will be a fork where Route 63 turns into East Leverett Road, and Leverett Road branches off to the left.  Follow Leverett Road to the left. Leverett Road becomes Amherst Road. Turn right onto Depot Road. Depot Road becomes Montague Road. Turn right onto Cave Hill Road. The Peace Pagoda is at 100 Cave Hill Road, marked by a hand-painted wooden sign on the right side of the road. Turn right onto the dirt road at the Peace Pagoda, and use the parking area immediately on your right.

The Red Barn is located at 893 West Street in Amherst, on the campus of Hampshire College. Again, there will be signs directing you to the Hara celebration along the way.  To see a map of the Red Barn's location, click "View Map." From the Peace Pagoda: Upon exiting the Peace Pagoda, turn right onto Cave Hill Road. Make a left turn at the stop sign, onto Jackson Hill Road. Make another left turn at the next stop sign, onto Route 63/Long Plain Road, toward Amherst. You will come to the center of North Amherst, at a busy stoplight.  Long Plain Road merges to the left onto what becomes North Pleasant Street.  Continue straight through the stoplight onto North Pleasant Street; do not follow Route 63 to the right. At the stoplight with Massachusetts Avenue, turn left and continue on North Pleasant Street. At the next stoplight with East Pleasant Street and Triangle Street, turn right and continue on North Pleasant Street. Continue through the center of Amherst.  North Pleasant Street will become South Pleasant Street, then West Street, then Route 116.  Continue straight. About 10 minutes past the center of Amherst, the Red Barn is located on the right at the beginning of the Hampshire College campus.
