There are two ways for an organization to become involved in The Crane Project. Coalition Members are engaged in
the organizing of The Crane Project, while Supporting Groups are either participating in the Uranium Trail Peace
Caravan or providing services that will make it possible.

Grand Valley Peace & Justice is an inter-parish agency representing the four Catholic churches in the Grand Junction area, established
in 1990. Our mission is to be a catalyst: to raise consciousness, educate, challenge and lead
the local community to action in the prophetic stance and mandate of the Catholic Church's social teachings.

A Voice of Reason is a progressive, grassroots organization dedicated to social justice and peace, based in Grand Junction.
The Mesa State College chapter of A Voice of Reason is a progressive, grassroots student group dedicated
to social justice and peace, based on the campus of Mesa State College in Grand Junction.

Grand Junction Alternative Media is guerilla media organization working to create an alternative media network on the Western Slope. GJAM publishes
the bi-weekly alternative news source, The Red Pill.

Supporting Groups
|
St. Mary Catholic Church in Montrose is a community of faith, fostering a deeper commitment to Christ through sharing our time, treasures
and talent. St. Mary and its mission church, Our Lady of Fatima in Olathe, together have a congregation of 1,150 families.

Colorado Citizens Against Toxic Waste is a Canon City organization that formed after the Cotter Corporation’s uranium mill announced plans
to import radioactive/toxic waste. We love our region and want to preserve its rare assets: Nature’s Beauty,
Clean Air, and Fresh Mountain Water.
